Mount Martha is a bayside suburb on the Mornington Peninsula located 53 km south of the CBD. There is an older part of Mt Martha as well as a newer part and they co-exist in harmony. Mt Martha is popular for its stunning sandy beaches with South Beach considered one of the best beaches on the Mornington Peninsula. The shopping centre offers a variety of shops for residents. There are also trendy café’s and lunch and dinner restaurants to eat and drink and the overall relaxed atmosphere would suit many different personality types.
Mt Martha combines a lot of newer contemporary family homes and the more traditional, older style, weatherboard holiday houses. Property built high on the hill along the Esplanade bordering Martha Cove take in some of the best views the Mornington Peninsula has to offer, with a number of ‘multi-million dollar’ properties with pools and tennis courts benefiting from the wonderful panoramic views. Plenty of options for affordable family homes.
Essentially Mt Martha is a family orientated township well serviced with primary and secondary schools, excellent shopping, lots of café’s and restaurants, sporting clubs, public transport and easy access to Peninsula Link. Many residents commute to the CBD each day for work but simply love going home to the Mt. Martha lifestyle. Most if not all residents will say Mt Martha is a great place to live – the biggest downfall is adjusting to the feeling of being on holiday all the time!
