Mount Eliza is located 44 km south of the CBD between Frankston and Mornington. It is a large bayside suburb which has small town, village feel with beautiful beaches, great schools and plenty of cafes and fine restaurants. The suburb is generally populated by relatively affluent older families and is a diverse area with something to suit everyone. Not only are there nice beaches but you can also live in a ‘bush’ setting on the other side of Nepean highway. Property is very tightly held and houses get snapped up pretty quickly when they do become available.
There is an active commercial centre (Mt Eliza Village) which has many specialty shops, supermarkets and a choice of restaurants. There are also a number of social and sporting clubs and the farmers market is held once a month in the heart of village. With excellent state, catholic and private schools on offer, it is a great place to raise a family and be part of a community.
